NOTABLE QUOTES

Chumpi is a Quechua word that has two literal meanings: brown and belt. Both of these meanings can be applied to the fascinating stones that are carved with humps on them. They are also called Apu Stones because the humps carved in them represent mountains.

Chumpi Stones are energetic companions that can activate, animate, and move energy within different grids of time, dimensions, and portals. In this way, they are living beings.

In this guidebook, you will stroll along Apu Avenue amongst the mystery and majesty of Chumpi Stones, who will provide you with magic of companionship.

The Q'ero and other indigenous people of the Andes are known for the beauty of their traditional textiles and the power of their carved items. Images on both the textiles and their carvings represent messages received from their ancestors and the invisible energetic universe.

Chumpi Stones hold multiple energies including: the energy of the stone itself, the energy of the number of protrusions on the stone, the energy of the symbol carved on the stone, the energy of its sacred geometric form, the energy of the Pleiades, the energy of the Apu (mountain spirit) the stone is connected to, and the cultural associations of the originator as well as the user.

Rituals are a set of symbolic actions that are performed to activate intention, create focus, and move energy. Rituals elevate the mundane, secular, and ordinary to the special, sacred, and extraordinary. Rituals connect our earthbound soul to the spirit world. Our guides and ancestors consider them an invitation to join us. At a minimum, you will want to create a birthing ritual to welcome a new set of Chumpi Stones into your collection of sacred tools.
